The Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Barons' pays tribute to the Birmingham Barons, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, where Michael Jordan played during his foray into the minor leagues. The upper is made of black tumbled leather and features stitched lines, as well as a grey lizard-textured mudguard. The iconic Jumpman logo can be found on the tongue and heel tab. To ensure stability, a lightweight Phylon midsole, full-length Zoom Air unit, and carbon fiber shank plate are incorporated into the design.
